Lance Steffek, a Texas native, came to Alabama in 2005 at the height of the housing boom, to specialize in selling beautiful resort property. When the housing market declined two years later, Lance quickly learned the ropes of short sales and foreclosures in this resort market, and has become an expert in helping clients manage their investment interests. His focus is on developing a personal relationship with the client to ensure that each client's individual needs are met. Because the market is ever changing, he works hard to stay current with new trends in real estate and in his local market so he can to keep his clients informed about the next best deal.
Lance is a broker for The Coastal Properties Team, started in 2009 to allow specialization of agents that could serve each client's needs better. The firm has assisted buyers and sellers in millions of dollars of real estate transactions. In this market driven by many foreclosures and short sales, The Coastal Properties Team has the experience to understand these processes and assist clients to weather the real estate storm, whether they are buying or competing to sell against distressed sales.
The Coastal Properties Team main market area includes Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, two seaside resorts along the Gulf of Mexico only 40 miles from Mobile, as well as Ft. Morgan and Perdido Key, near the Florida state line. The beautiful beaches, known for their bright, "sugar white" quartz sand and emerald green waters, attract large number of tourists, so most of the area is dominated by hotels, condominiums, and vacation houses and a tourism/real estate based economy.
